Operation Christmas Child Leader: Susan DiAngelo Samaritan's Purse Project "Operation Christmas Child" requests that we fill shoe boxes with school supplies, hygiene items and toys for children to be distributed all over the world. At Mt.Pisgah, we encourage people to fill their own shoe boxes. We collect money and purchase items for additional shoe boxes and we take the youth for an evening of shipping, wrapping, and filling shoe boxes.
The 2nd Sunday of October is usually kickoff. Shoe box Sunday is held in the beginning of November during the 10:15 am Worship Service.
We can always use volunteers to help collect money, to buy the items, to wrap shoe boxes and to help the youth on shopping night.
