The purpose of the Prayer Shawl Ministry is to reach out to those in our congregation and beyond our walls to those who would benefit from the warmth and compassion that a prayer shawl provides. A prayer shawl(or lap robe for men) is knitted with intentional prayer for whomever will receive the shawl.

This is a wonderful way to let someone who is ill, grieving or in transition know that we care. i t is also a great way to celebrate with someone a memorable event.

We meet the 1st Tuesday of the month for about an hour. If you love to knit or crochet, this is a wonderful way  to use your talents. We are always looking for more "knitters".
