Youth/Adult Choir

The Youth/Adult Choir is a team of singers whose role is to worship God, exalt Christ, and lead others to do the same. We do not function to simply "sing a special" each week. Rather, we seek to lead others into God's presence. Music is a gift from God; it is the gift He has given us to be able to offer praise and worship to Him.

As the Youth/Adult Choir we have an incredible responsibility to be a worship -leading choir and ministry.Through Biblical history, we are commanded to sing and make music for the Lord. There are numerous Old and New Testament accounts of men and women of faith who sang, danced and played instruments before their God.

We practice every Wednesday for 1 hour from 7:40 to 8:40 pm. We sing for the Sunday morning 10:15 Worship service as well as special services throughout the year, such as Thanksgiving and Lent. With special musical presentations, extra practices may be requested. We sing from September until the end of May . Since our role is to lead others into God's presence, it is of utmost importance that members have an uncompromised commitment to the choir. If we strive for excellence in all we do, we must be willing to give our time. Our praise to God would not be halfhearted. He deserves our best.

New members are always welcomed. We are not as concerned with your level of talent as much as your level of passion and commitment. We are seeking people who want to minister through music for the "long haul."

"non-singing" members are needed as well. Maintenance of choir robes, filing music, making CD's for our singers would be very helpful.
